At the very least they are good with sending out information that can help gun owners get out there and let our state representatives know how we feel about bills in progress...

As a person who was a member of Students for Concealed Carry, I like that they are pushing colleges to allow students to defend themselves.

And hell, the NRA begs for money just as badly. It got so bad I asked to be taken off their mailing lists. They begging only increased in numbers after I joined. I've been thinking about joining RMGO when my membership at the NRA runs out in a year or so.

WOW....feel like I'm gonna get mobbed if I say anything good about RMGO here lol.

I'm glad they're around, and definitely appreciate the info I get through them. The emails always asking for donations do get old - but as with any organization that operates off donations, I'm sure they're constantly hungry LOL.

I've been a member of RMGO for a few years now.
They do seem to have a voice with legislatures.
    I'm glad they're there.
The constant begging for money gets a little old but RMGO is not as bad as the NRA. They must think I'm rich or something.
    I'm a member of RMGO,NAGR and NRA.
Things about all of them bug me but they all have some clout and they are speaking for the second amendment so I will continue to be a member of all 3.
I just ignore the scare tactics.

RMGO was instrumental in getting the CCW laws we have today and the "Make My Day" law for protection in your home.

They have been leading the battle to allow CCW on college campuses including overturning the CU ban.

They are constantly working to identify business that are anti-CCW.

They worked with legislators to introduce new CCW laws that would allow any law abiding citizen to carry without a permit or training.

I agree that the fear mongering and asking for money is a little over the top and gets annoying but I'll gladly put up with that for the what they do.
