Default GLOCK lost my new 19

I bought a couple of the new gen 4 glocks this year, a 17, 19 and 23. The 19 had a scratched up slide out of the box from the GB auction so I sent the slide in for a refinish(warranty) under the advice of the Glock rep. Three months later and its not here. Called Glock and they cant find the slide. They informed me that they are going to issue me a new Glock 19. I guess I will have another month of waiting before I get the pistol. Stressfull if you ask me now I have to send them the frame, and barrel and they said they are going to destroy them and issue me a new pistol. They said to keep the 3 mags and they will provide me three others with the new pistol. For anyone needing repair or warranty work at Glock right now it is a bit chaotic for them since according to the rep they are relocating to a new building.

This is my first warranty issue with a Glock, I hope they make it right. I have dealt with Smith and Springfield several times and I always came out happy in the end. It seems very chaotic over at Glock when I call. Reps say they will call you back and you never hear from them nor do they have any notes etc. Always a diffrent answer. If I did not call in I am quite sure I would have never heard from them. I also had a Glock 27 slide go in with this order and they say this one is ready to go but that is not here either. Wonder why they just cant give me another new slide. Anybody had similar experiences? I like my Glocks but will be reluctant to seek the factories help in the future.

Well, as long as it all works out I don't see what the big problem is. Sure it's annoying, but you're getting a brand new gun and 3 free mags. I'd wait a bit for that if it were me...

I got news for ya. This isn't a recent phenomena at Glock. It's been that way (at least) since I started dealing directly with them in 2000.

It's like they're always in crisis mode over one thing or another and getting anyone to call you back pretty much takes a note from God himself.

I see no reason to complain at all personally. You're getting a brand new pistol, probably their latest model right off of the assembly line, plus 3 free hi-caps. Make sure you request night sights, whether you had them on the one they lost or not. Nice fresh gun with nice fresh nites and 3 free hi-caps. What's wrong with that?

You mean Gaston? (I think that's what they call God in Glock world)
