Default On this Independace Day weekend, remember.....

that if you like lighting fireworks, shooting guns, and having privacy - that you're a terrorist or criminal of some sort. OH...and apple pie. You gotta watch them ones that like the pie.

Any more, the 4th of July depresses me.

I wasn't around for this nations birth, but I suspect I'll be here for its death.

those of us who couldn't serve (or at least myself ) would like to thank them and wish them a happy 4th

i always miss baltimore around the 4th , i have always felt that the celebration was the best there . something about listening to the star spangle banner and watching the fireworks from fort mchenry or federal hill where it all went down is one of those things that just makes me smile and warms the soul every time .

On another note, I find myself being haunted by my sarcasm. I didn't sleep very well due to all the fireworks

Wish them safe travels anf thanks for their service!!

I was deployed twice for 4th of July and the ship`s form of fireworks was awesome. Took around 400 tracers and linked em consecutivly for the M2 50 and the M60 and them illum rounds for the 5 inch and then fire for effect off the CWIS all to the Star Spangled Banner, National ANthem and Ol Glory lite up at night. SOmething I will never forget and will cherish I was there to witness.
