    Cool. Thanks for posting the pictures. We were going to make a road trip up there and spend a few days, but haven't due to the fuel prices. Hauling the camper with the old truck will be costly. Thinking of just going in the SUV and hoteling it.

    Left Wheat Ridge at 1230pm ...6 hour drive up (392 Miles), looked at Crazy Horse Mountain....
    Drove up to Keystone South Dakota....Found a Hotel with a room available on July 3rd at 11PM ($100.00 for a king sized bed)
    Woke up next day looked around Mount Rushmore and started driving back at 1PM arrived Wheat Ridge at 710PM

    Unless you plan on doing more I recommend this route as gas prices for a SUV would be acceptable.

    So 800 ish miles round trip for me.
