Here's the thing. An asshole is an asshole regardless of race, creed or sexual orientation.

I would support gays right to marriage and any other rights they want, WHY because I do not care what they do...

This is a whole other can of worms. I feel the same way with guys who want to legalize marijuana, have armed guards at their dispensaries, but don't think the average citizen should have access to firearms. Blows my mind. Freedom is pretty all encompassing, and people really tend to forget that.
