    Default Centennial area lock your doors

    Buddy and I just got to my house. Soon as we were out of the car and started walking towards my house a cop yelled at us to freeze and show her our hands... single cop, appeared to be searching the area, had a light, and both the light and laser on her Glock were on. Asked us if we'd seen a guy in a blue shirt run by, then told us to go inside and stay there.
    Cleared my house, gave my buddy a basic "this is the end that makes the fun happen, this is the thing that makes it go bang" and we're just sittin here now.
    Anybody know what the fawk is going on?

    UPDATE 2:53AM:
    About 15 min ago a Sheriff's vehicle pulled up, tires screeching, and a group of 4 or 5 officers led a man in a blue shirt pretty roughly to the vehicle, searched him, and put him inside. About 10 min ago they transferred him to another vehicle. I count at least 8 officers for sure, but I think more (can't tell if I'm seeing repeats, its dark, but the female cop and a few others I made a mental note of are out of sight). Including one K9 unit that just went to search the brush to the south of me.

    UPDATE 2:57AM:
    Both patrol cars in my view just left, including the one with the suspect in it. There are more cars out of sight though, I can see the light from the headlights. No lights or sirens all night though. Don't know where the K9 unit (dog and 3 officers) went, but they haven't returned.
    Still don't know what's going on with all of this, but I suppose its pretty much over.

    I'm right off Arapahoe and University by that newish Southglenn Mall.

    Weird that is a decent area little older but not ghetto by any means

    Yeah I've been here 13 years and never had anything like this before. Just glad its only my buddy here and not my girlfriend, and that my mom and sister moved out long ago. If anything happens I don't need to be worrying about their safety as well as my own.
    I'll let you know if I find anything out, but chances are if I do I'll be reading it here
