Hummer (the birds)

Was fishin' this mornin', long-story short, kept gettin' "harrassed big-time" by a humming-bird and finally I realized I was "on his turf and too close to his lady-bird." Thought some you might find these pics interesting. The male was dive-bombing as the little female was entertaining his advances. Pic 1 is her sittin' right next to me in a bush. Pic 2, if you look in the upper-left you'll see the male blazing-in at her...flash of green...it was pretty cool to watch this activity live, went on for quite some time. I was surprised I was able to capture any of this with my el-cheapo hand-held and the speed at which this was going on.
