Default I-25 I-70 highway name opinions wanted

I was listening to Michael Brown on KOA last night. A lady newsreader told him that the Intersection of I-25 and I-70 is no longer called the Mousetrap. She claimed that when they rebuilt it the name became obsolete and improper. She stated unequivocally that the Mousetrap no longer exists.

I think she is full of it. It's still the Mousetrap to me.

    Awesome, that works very well.
I've lived in Colorado for 22 of my 26 years on this earth and have never known I-70/25 to be anything but the Mousetrap... although I haven't heard it called that in a while (mainly because I don't listen to the radio). I think no one calls it the mousetrap anymore because after TREX (Delfuego put it best) it's very streamlined now.

I've always just called it "The intersection of I-25 and I-70." Never heard any of this mousetrap crap.

I've always called it the mousetrap when iit really was the truck tipping mess. I was living in Arvada and working in the Tech Center (a much smaller Tech Center) when the truck full of torpedoes tipped over. That was pretty amazing how it shut the city down.
