As a Netflix customer with DVD and Instant service, I'll just drop the Instant only service and save a few bucks a month. Netflix is a much better deal than Redbox if you're watching with movies/TV on a daily basis.

I don't think that Netflix will see the amount of fallout that some are expecting.

I would just drop the mail service and use their streaming service but all of the movies are old and the streaming is poor quality.

14,000 negative comments on their Facebook page and growing (by about a thousand an hour)

You're right, it doesn't make sense. I meant to say that I was going to drop the DVD service.

We don't watch a ton of TV anymore and haven't had cable for 7 months now. I appreciate the variety of selection that Netflix has and the streaming quality is better than poor but certainly not great.

I'm a special case, not having cable and all, so I won't fit the norm but I still don't think that the customer base is going to drop Netflix all together for Redbox.

I'll be dropping the dvd service, haven't really used it much anyway since doing the streaming method.

People will just migrate to Hulu.

That's $8 for unlimited dvd's one at a time. With mailing time that's a max of 5 a month. If you are like me and let them sit on your tv stand or mail pile for a week before you watch them it ends up being only 2 a month.
