    Yes, but odds are unless they go through very stringent testing they probably won't get into a combat arms duty like infantry, they'll more likely become desk ridden. I've seen only a few extremely rare cases where they'll allow an amputee to serve in a combat role (such as a Vehicle Commander- guy sitting shotgun in a truck- if they can evac the vehicle in the time allowed for standards) but it's usually in the rear where they keep them.

    With his very effective monopod he could probably remove that bipod.

    Very cool pic. Great example of the "Never Quit" attitude.
