Is that some sort of splitter?

I'm very behind on latest purchases, but here are some grips I got a few months ago, and just recently found and installed. I didn't want new grips, but the factory ones got broken.

Yes. My wife doesn't like using an axe or hatchet to make kindling. With this she can just use a 2.5lbs hammer.

That's exactly what it looks like. That's pretty cool. I've never seen such a thing before.

Gander had them on sale. $799 after mail in rebate for a 48 gun safe. Not bad. I know its not a TL15/TL30 and is just an RSC but hard to beat a liberty for $800, even if its not their top of the line model.

Their marketing line is that it was invented by a young girl in New Zealand that watched her mom mangle her hand while making kindling with a hatchet. I don't know if it's true or not but it works like a charm as long as the rough split wood fits in the ring. Kindling Cracker / $90 at Northern Tool.

It'll keep the honest people honest.

And it's a whole lot less hassle to move than any TL15/TL30. (I can't complain, Opie and his father do a fantastic job!)
