Going to lose the gate in the next year, add stowed ramps, tongue box, winch, brakes, and reverse lights
I'm interested. I've been looking at how to modify my 5'x8' Tractor Supply version of that trailer. The gate doesn't come off, and has to be modified in order to lay flat when you put it forward. It's simple enough to make it detachable, but I'm interested in how you'll do the ramps. I'm also interested in how one goes about adding brakes to a trailer. Someone sold a flatbed on here for a good deal with no brakes and I've been wondering how that works ever since.

Suehiro in Grand Junction, a favorite of ours for 25+years. Always good affordable sushi and sashimi.

I don't need the bouquet plates, simple fresh sashimi makes me happy.

I bought a 16' car trailer on here with no brakes. I plan to use it to haul tractor, atvs and as utility. Tow vehicle is 3/4 ton pickup. Trailer pulls nice and no brakes matters none to me.

I may keep the gate around, but relocate the barrel hinges to be flush with the deck. It's pretty heavy, but would be easy on short trips. Just dont want it there on long runs since it's a sail.

For the ramps, you just weld a piece of angle to the rear as a lip, use some gussets to reinforce the angle. Then you use a few pieces of angle to create the slots to stow the ramps from the side. (I took photos of the other trailers on the lot that had ramps for some of this stuff.)
Brakes: you swap the hubs out on the forward axle, and wire a bit of stuff in. You have to change from a 4 pin to a 7 pin plug, which I will have to do for reverse lights anyway.

Sounds like you bought the one I was talking about.

I was looking at my trailer the other day and if I swap the leaf springs to the top of the axle, I'd probably pretty easily have room to store ramps.

I've always been a Cummins guy but I'm going to the dark side this time. Gonna give this 6.7 powerstroke a chance. I hope I like it cause I'm gonna be stuck with it awhile. 2019 F-350 lariat. Not a white truck fan but this platinum pearl looks damn good in the sun.
