My head's not so huge, so if they fit and are basically ANY improvement over the jaybird earbuds, I'll be happy.

They will be a DRAMATIC improvement over any earbud, that is for sure!

I love my Bose QC 35s for air use. They do a great job canceling the cabin noise. Used my old QC 25s for a flight years ago and was surprised how much the background noise of the flight actually wore on me. The ANC really did remove stress from the trip.

Used my Airpods Pro on my last flight and they worked fairly well. Not as good canceling the noise, but a heckuva lot more convenient due to their small size.

I didn't realize Yamaha still made headphones. Hope you're happy with them!

Lets see what the hype about these Modlights and Cloud Defense lights are all about. The Modlight buttons are pretty good and have a way smaller footprint.

That's a lot of frog skin sitting right there lol. I've seen their stuff but I can't see myself spending the coin over surefire/streamlight. Let us know what you think.

I guess it was well past time to upgrade my 11+ year old laptop. I found a good deal in the scratch & Dent / refurb pile for fair price. I thought it was interesting that the extended coverage to 2 years on the refurb was less than the price for the same machine for 1 year for factory fresh version.

If I could have scrapped out the video parts and turned it into a video card, I could have sold said card for about 2x what I paid for the full laptop.Click image for larger version.

The machine is a basic I7, 16 gig ram + 1 T SSD drive, with 3060 GPU. It took a about 4 hrs to patch it up to current and fetch the standard apps using patchmypc software. I will say right now the display on the machine is perfect. I found using Patch My PC program (free for home users) is very useful in doing original installs and keeping the software it monitors up-to-date.

Nice. On cold winter nights you can route the exhaust fans to hand warmers.

All my chimneys (I live in a condominium complex) are uncapped. Birds, wind, etc. all piss me off as they seem to be inside the house, rather than outside. Should I buy a chimney cap(s)!
