If you don't mind telling me how much?

I really want to do this as my bedroom is over the garage and this would help immensely when the temps drop way down. All I really want to do is keep the garage about 50*.

The hot dog heaters are relatively inexpensive 600-800 a piece. Running the proper gas line size and install labor can be expensive. Send me a pm of you're interested in an estimate or advice.

Not even warm next to the TV. It's blowing air past the tubes so the heat is directed away from the unit.

I ordered a 2 stage so it can ramp up fast and hover at the set temp which cost a little more. The install and venting through our tile roof adds up. 125K BTU's with a thermostat I control on my iPhone so I can start it while I'm on my way home. Your looking at about $3K.
