    Kwando,

I had the forend Duracoated, the grip and buttstock are MOE. I just picked it up from the guy today. Just in time for Christmas. LOL

    Ridge,

It is further forward, easier for her to see (Aimpoints hopefully in the not too distant future), but it is on correctly. The adjustment knob is on the right side, the picture makes it look like it is on the left.

    This is the sight:

Ridge was referring to the 2nd picture.. the 2nd gun from the top.

Well I thought I did so well the last couple of months about my gun budget... "thought." Deals that could not be passed up.

    Started with this on Friday:

    Saturday morning:

    Saturday evening:

And ended with this on Sunday night: (the stock is for sale! Phoniex KickLite complete set, $80 PM me for details)

    Chunky Monkey,

I understand what you and Ridge are saying about the rifle. It is pretty new and I have been trying to get my newly minted AARP progressive lens wearing eyes to work the iron sights better. It is pretty far forward, but the knob is on the correct side.

I have an M&P 15 too with an Aimpoint and I am still able to BUS for closer distances, but the new glasses...

I am sure I will find the sweet spot in the near future. Then it is my intention to Aimpoint up.
