^^ Looks nice. If you're swapping out all the wood I'd be interested in it.

Good idea to verify that the batter is good; figured by the time I yanked out the battery; brought it to a place to test it by taxi and back, maybe just grab a new battery from CostCo would cost as much. My other car was stuck (high centered) in the road due to about 18" snow one day and another 4 the following day. I did manage to dig out the side of the road and park the car. But due to other issues I knew did need a new battery charger. When the charger arrives later today it does have a 'test' option. Not sure if it will generate the right load or not, but at least the battery should be fully charged when I am done with it.
So where can I get a Ranger Rover Defender or good Toyota FJ 40 'cheep', cheap is defined as below 20K?

"I am a conservative. Quite possibly I am on the losing side; often I think so. Yet, out of a curious perversity I had rather lose with Socrates, let us say, than win with Lenin."

Yeah, that's kinda frustrating. I don't have very much knowledge regarding AK's. From what research I did, I knew to get a commie gun. But that's about it.
In regards to ammo, I haven't been stocking up, but I guess that needs to change. Even our local walmart is out of ammo for it. They have .50 cal, but no .22 (no surprise) or 7.62x39.Fortunately I bought a few mags before the "ban".
