Acquired this old Hoosier cabinet from an old farmer the other day. I was filling a tank by his machine shed and saw this, covered in dust and bird droppings, against the back wall. He said it was in his grandparents house as a kid in the 30s and 40s and he inherited it in 77. He figured it was at least 100 years old. He put in the shed about 10 years ago when he built an addition on his house. It's got some minor water damage but it's in remarkably good shape and even has the original glass.

I agreed to his demands...pay him the amount on the propane bill for 103 gals of propane and he'd release it to me unharmed. Went back after work and picked it up and Mrs BG and I spent the next day cleaning it.

I dig it! A friend of mine long ago used to refinish shitloads of those things. Does it have the flour hopper/dispenser?

Yeah...if you look closely to that middle row of what look like drawers, just below the glass and upper cabinet you'll see the rounded hoppers on each side.

No problem, still got a lot more to do, been working on it since September. I've always loved 70's scramblers so that's the look I'm going for.
