I've been researching drones as well. Hope the dti doesn't fly away! If you ever get some free time I'd love to come check it out in action. I don't wanna fly it just an in person tutorial.

They all have a chance to fly away, so far so good. I'm really surprised how good the pictures come out. The ground station feature is cool too. Give it a list of waypoints and it'll take off on its own and fly an entire mission without you touching the sticks at all.

Thats crazy cool! Does it have a screen on the controller showing the camera view? Its amazing they can pack that ground station feature into it too. Is it user friendly?

I see an expensive crash in my future.

It has a clamp on the controller that you stick your iPhone into and you run an app that gives you the camera view, and you can control the camera from it as well. Snap pics, start/stop video, change settings, adjust camera angle.

So far pretty user friendly, but I've been doing rc for over 30 years, though normally I keep them on the ground.

Got 2 more of the overhead storage racks from Costco. 96 sq ft of overhead storage in the garage that can hold a combined 1800lbs of stuff! WOOO!

Not sure if still available of course, but there's three of these listed on CL in Parker for $100 (each I'm assuming)
