Kinda looks like one I bought that was recovered weeks after being thrown out of a car window during a chase down a country road. For some reason I think the grips have been replaced, at least mine did not look that good. I love giving those abused guns a second chance. Did you find it locally?

Nah, gunbroker. You're right about the grips, the ones on there were "hip grips", judging by the wear on the steel parts vs the aluminum I think this is more sweat or storage in leather, there aren't any abrasions that indicate it being roughed up beyond neglect.
