I have tried several of the "home slicers" They all are frustration station. Nice purchase. !!!!

Picked it up used off craigslist... much nicer than any of the ones intended for home use. Avantco SL310, a "light duty" one for small restaurants.

Should make slicing up my home made bacon and pastrami much easier. Also planning to smoke a turkey breast just for some sliced turkey.

Yeah, it's 100% metal, no cheap plastic to flex, and the motor is massive. Got it for $100. Took some good cleaning, previous owner apparently used it once and put it away without cleaning.
