It's solid and great like all Moras, but it was a drunk shopping mishap and I'm not 100% sure what on earth I'm going to use it for.

Probably use it to open all your other drunk purchases throughout the year.

This is probably the correct answer.

Speaking of things you are not 100% sure why you purchased:

I just got one these. Do you really have to ask why besides SBR?

The problem is that SBR is such a mixed bag on these. It's about $450 just to press in a tri-lug barrel, not including the cost of the barrel. Aside from the cocking handle and forearm, I'm not real sure what other parts I'd want to replace on it to get it into 922r configuration. By the time I added the paddle mag conversion and the B&T stock I like, I'd have another $1600 into it. At that price, I could just buy a Zenith which I wouldn't feel bad about replacing parts in the least, and which already comes with the tri-lug barrel. Swapping out all the HK parts feels like buying a brand new Euro sports car, then ripping out the drive train to replace it with American aftermarket parts. I'm sure with enough money it could be made to drive the same, but it doesn't feel like a good investment of my income.
