I think thats about the only difference. Congrats and welcome to the smoker's club. We got rid of our gas grill after using the Traeger for a bit. It just cooks things so much better. It does take a little longer for things like burgers but I've never had a bad meal off a Traeger.

Well I finally reached a point of not mooching off my dad's tools. I have some semi major work to do on a few projects at home so I decided to start building my own tool collection. I've always had the luxury of using quality tools being that my dad was a mechanic for 15+ years but we all have to start somewhere. After searching around for a week for the 'perfect set' Harbor freight prevailed. I chose this over the Craftsman line because it came with almost everything I needed, plus more. The closest Craftsman's tool kit was $111 and did not even include a 10mm wrench..

Harbor Freight especial. 301 PC 'mechanics' tool set for $159.99. I checked out their tool boxes as well and I have to say, I was pretty impressed. I've been checking Home Depot, Lowes, and Sears and the HF seemed much better quality.

Also picked up some stands for this beast to make it easier to work on this weekend.

I think them harbor freights come with a lifetime warranty as well? I did the same thing for many years..my old man was a mechanic his whole life. Nothing like being able to go to his shop and use all his tools!!
