Nice! Buy her some nice gear and get her into it too so you can enjoy it together. Maybe you won't be in as much trouble. Just don't get her TOo into it because then you have to buy her one and that's different kind of trouble!

Usually I'd say of course. She likes to shoot and shoot bows..... this.... there's a level of like phobia fear attached as far as me getting hurt or something.

Did blow my budget with a fancier Shoei or whatever helmet. But the extra doober safe helmet didn't sway her any.

Just got the Lobo Gunleather Model 1 Pancake holster I ordered for my Chiappa Rhino 40DS (oh and I bought a Chiappa Rhino 40DS).

(my preferred holster is an OWB pancake holster that I convert to IWB with spring clips and chicago screws ... yeah, I'm weird)

Having bought holsters from Ray when he owned Lobo down in Pueblo I have to say the new guys that bought the company from him are making every bit as nice if not nicer holsters.

Nice, what's your impression of the Rhino, would you buy one again?

The ergonomics are great, as long as it doesn't break I think I'll really like it (I say that because it seems like a Rube Goldberg machine inside).

It's a lot lighter than I thought it would be (its much lighter than the Dan Wesson 14-2 snubbie I have) and carries very nicely. The DA trigger is a little heavy and not as nice as a tuned S&W but the SA trigger is very nice. Mine came with the fiber optic sights which are great for my old eyes.

So far I'm glad I have it and would probably buy another one.

Only negative is that the grip angle is more like a target pistol than a combat gun so you have to break your wrist over a bit more (this is more of a "getting used to it" training thing than anything else).

Chopped, and the paint I used has already worn off. The ambi lever really messed with it for me as lefty, my handgun grip wasn't used to accommodating a slide lever so I wound up causing it to not lock back a lot.
