Got the handguards, grip and stock complete with tube and buffer and spring for $40 on Reddit. The receiver I got for $100 at Tanner.

You did good. I still miss the SP1 I bought in the 80s, probably more than I like anything I have now.

Did someone say OD? New Furniture here.

    New Paintjob here.

And New Pistola here. Not a replacement for the 19, just a supplement. I am loving its size and weight though.

Thanks. I like natural patterns that can blend in the forest.

Nice, it seems like retro is in. A question, were any of the Vietnam era M16s issued in OD green or were they all black at that time? Have any rifles with olive drab green or brown or other camo furniture been issued by the US military outside of snipers and special OPs?

None the less it was my latest purchase.... They finish it off it one of those pizza style wood fired ovens before serving. So they very top layer of it gets charred was pretty good actually.

Well I didn't install myself, I will be removing it and reinstalling it when the engine comes out for rebuild.

2000 Tahoe 5.3L. I am going to pull the engine in the next couple of weeks for a rebuild to add a bit more PSI of boost.

Picked up this great older revolver from Rooster1966 on this very forum. 1975 vintage S&W 67 no dash .38Spl. It originally came with a set of Pachmayr Gripper and Altamont magna grips. I had this older set of period correct target grips on hand-they fit me better.

The no dash 66 and 67 briefly had all stainless sights but after a short while following complaints from law enforcement on the difficulty seeing them Smith changed to the red ramp front and black rear prior to other engineering changes. This gun appears to be one that sat around a bit but not shot much. Timing/lockup is spot on. It's a great shooter and will hang around for a long time. Couldn't be happier with the gun or the deal from Rooster. I think I need to get a floral carved Tom Threepersons holster from El Paso Saddlery to top it off lol.
