    Default Snorkel air filter for Honda engine

    Mowing the dry desert grasses around the house is so dusty that dirt clogs the Honda air filter before I'm half done mowing, and any dirt that bypasses eats engines. When the air filter gets clogged it can draw crankcase oil into the carb and kill the engine. So, I asked my small engine guy to build me a snorkel air filter. The lower air filter chamber is sealed and a wet vac attachment and hose lead to a Briggs paper and foam filter up on the handles to keep it out of the dust. It works beautifully.
