Damn, poor Jeremy didn't get his chance to bait an officer for all to see on YouTube. Oh well, better luck next time.

Cop couldn't have been any cooler or handled it better, happy to see that.
Cool with the back and forth about being Marines, but still, why was he being hassled in the first place? I know, I know, safety, but a criminal is not going to open carry. When are we going to figure out that those who open carry, or concealed carry for that matter, are law-abiding everyday folks?

I don't understand why the guy was carrying an EMPTY gun.

A World Without Guns <- Great Read!
In some states it's legal to OC so long as the handgun doesn't have a mag inserted. Stupid, I know but that might be why the officer 'harassed' him.

I understand Ronin-meister. My thought is you're probably going to hassled, or there is a strong possibility. As many of us are for OC, there are so many sheeple that have no clue about the laws etc, and it probably startles the poor little sheeple. But, what I was saying is that from the point where the officer came over on...it was handled great by the LEO. I've seen the same youtube video a thousand times, where the cop makes a different choice, ya know?
Im not saying I agreed with the stop in the first place, but the cop had a job to do and he did it very well.
I don't know why the cops stopped this guy, but listening to them before they got to him it sounded like they had gotten calls about "man with a gun".
Obviously this guy "Jeremy" was there to make a point... How stupid is that to OC an unloaded pistol??? The police were obligated to respond if they got calls, and I felt the officer conducted himself in a very professional manner; even when "Jeremy" was not cooperating. It could have gone much worse for him - Especially in Oceanside!
Remember the COPS have a job to do too, and they are risking their lives every day. They need to do what is necessary to make sure they go home at the end of the day.
Just my $.02
(Preface - I am not attacking you in any way for saying this,so don't take it personally lol)
This is the issue I have. All any of us our trying to do is make sure we make it home at the end of the day. We all do jobs, risk health and safety, etc....to take care of our families, defend our country, or to feed our own desires. The only difference is that for some reason, the badge justifies whatever means necessary for self preservation at minimal risk, since it is "so dangerous". Statistically - I just previously worked in a job that put me in two of the top most dangerous fields and I could never justify being a dick to customers or shooting someone to my superiors.
