Default Lost my truck keys- *#@//

Here I sit stuck at home with no truck keys. I know I had them last night when I got home from work
Torn apart the bedroom, living room and the house in general and still no keys.
Not out in my shop either!
I have a spare key but no extra key fob to unlock or disable the alarm.

    Sonofabiatch!

Have you tried to use the key to unlock and start it up? Or is it just a valet key? If not give it a shot.

    Just a valet key Mike-
I used the fob to lock and arm the alarm last night so that rules out them being in the truck.
I bought my truck used and it only had the 1 fob.

Google how to disable the alarm with the key in the manual. My Subaru got me the other day, the battery in my fob stopped working -- in that car you unlock the door, the alarm sounds, get in and turn the ignition on/off three times and the alarm goes off.

PS for some reason I thought "fob" was an acronym Finger Operated Button, I think someone told me that once. Not true! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Key_fob The More You Know.

What type of vehicle is it?

Pants pocket from yesterday? I left mine in my pocket once and my wife was kind enough to have thrown them in the washer before I could empty my pockets.
