1950's Stiletto

Just got this today, a stiletto switchblade, straight from italy.
it is 8" with red stag and a mint bayonet blade. it is a very special one due to its manufacture's name- CORICAMA






a coricama is about the most sought after brand name of stiletto you can get.
most people get them from the states "junkers & refurbs", and most would dream to have one straight from italy almost mint "good luck"
this bugger has a price tag of $600, not for sale

Very nice stiletto! I stopped collecting autos awhile ago. And now all my knives are functional. I made a choice to not own blades i wouldnt use. And after Emerson and other manufacturers making kenetic openers, i will not carry an auto. I can deploy the blade on my EDC blade, (Emerson commander), way faster than an auto or an assisted opener.

hey thats sweet , ya wouldnt happen to have any stilettos would ya?
its not about how quick the knife opens or how it does.

the stiletto has been around for a very long time, its an art form and a great hobby
you can find ones worth more than some peoples guns and cars, "if you know what to look for" so be carefull

i love all knives.and carry kenetic openers, because my stilettos are worth too much and i wouldnt dare
put an oldie to use for carry

oh the coricama is the best of stilettos, it just depends on how you find them.
they have brass or steel liners and bolsters,great kik spring, variety of blade styles and length. but not for use as it probably has many stiletto collectors drooling and is worth bucu bucks,. you can buy modern nice ones on the web with nice french or brazillian cattle horn they are called frank beltrames made in maniago italy. maniago is the finest cutlery town in italy and has been for hundreds of years. it is an art form, a hobby and history.
maybe your gramps had one that was made in italia and imported or snuck into the states long ago, its neat old stuff

yea i just picked up two more tonight , both mid 1950's stiletto's marked inox italy bv&f .its a great tang stamp of family knife makers from long ago

i will post a picture of a historic monster pocket sword stiletto that sold for 4,700 i think.
it was engraved with proof markings and whatnots of a ww2 italian mili unit of sorts . gimme a few lol
