Default Looking For 5 Gallon Gas Cans But Not Red

I'm going to be experimenting with parkerizing and I'd like some secure containers to store the mixed solution. I just don't want red gas cans to avoid confusion since have a few. I've heard diesel cans are yellow. Anybody know where I can get them locally? My local Home Despot was no help. Any other types of containers that seal well would be fine, not just a bucket with loose top.

Might want to head back to Home Depot... you can get lids that seal up good and tight for standard 5 gallon buckets (think house paint) for pretty cheap. A lot cheaper than a fuel can.

And yes, diesel cans are yellow, and more expensive than "normal" red ones (cause for some reason EVERYTHING in diesel world is more expensive).

Best bet is a construction supply store like white cap. Or an equip rental store.

    Steve-
You don't want to store your park solution in metal containers. It is phosphoric acid based and will eventually eat through the cans. It will also kill the solution.
1 gallon windshield washer solution jugs work fine.

That's why I wanted the gas cans. They haven't been metal in years but heavy plastic. Unfortunately, the local Walmart doesn't have them. I have to stop by Murdoch's for other stuff. I'll try there.
