    Default Congratulations

    Congratulations!

It is really hard to find a job that pays similar to 2007 wages.
There are still people out there RIGHT NOW who are looking for 1999-2000 wages during peak of dot.com era. I guess I am one of them. hehehehe

10 months to go for full SS benefit and this is what I needed to supplement that when I get there.
Those of you that have been working-stay with it. It's a complete employer market right now and tough.
    Congrats!

Ya and those employers who know that and treat the employees like crap are going to be training new employees when the market picks up. I have actually been seeing a lot more jobs open lately. My wife just scored a job makeing what I make, just saying A good part time job I enjoy would make it worth quiting a full time job that I cant stand.

about 14 total Unemployed counting a few stints at temporary jobs.
Know any programming languages? UNIX sysadmin? Sillyvalley is running out of talent and recruiters are looking for telecommuters. Never heard of preferential treatment for vets, most companies just want someone who can get things done right and on time, pretty much everything else is secondary.

Unix is not hard. Linux is not that hard either. Just pick up a book on BASH commands or what ever language they are using and go.
