    I posted this elsewhere.

As some of you know, my son now lives with me full time. which explains my some what absence at times around here.

Hes shown an interest in shooting so we've prepped up a few rimfire for competing. We shot our first match together this weekend. It wasnt a big match about 25 competitors shooting different divisions. As it seems Im doomed to do lately, we had ammo issues. The PMC ammo would sometimes crack along the rim or just tear the base off.....couple pics.

Heres is he in action shooting Open Rimkire rifle. Its my 5" barrelled 10/22 with an Aimpoint.

The other guy in the pic won the division beating Evan by less than 2 seconds on overall time. He's a club member and shoots regularly. While I was shooting I hear in the background a guy ask him how long hes been shooting? Evan says "Its only my 2nd time to a range, but my Dad useta be really good and I guess I got some of those genes." I turn around and yell "what do you mean "useta?"

The other guy in the pic won the division beating Evan by less than 2 seconds on overall time. He's a club member and shoots regularly. Evan-125.56. The guy that beat him was 123.68. Given I kept having to mention to the guy that it was from a "Low ready" not ""pointed at the target"

The average time for shooters across the board was 218.77 which shows they weren't top shelf. I shot Limited Rimfire rifle at 94.87.

Overall I was surprised Evan shot well at all. He was somehow distracted by some High School Senior....

We'll be shooting the Ruger sponsored Match in a few weeks.
