    Darwinian theory is a bitch.

a buddy of mine posted this before on facebook, I think it nails it perfectly for me too.

Not surpirsed in the least. And as to these people who are acting like it's all sad, fuck that. She was dumb and got herself killed. Moral to the story...don't do heroin. How many service members died this month alone? Their names won't even be mentioned on the news but I'm supposed to be sad that the world is minus one junkie? Please. Whats really under my skin, is that this thing in Norway happens and people care about one person who was basically famous for being on heroin. A lot of people who were a lot better than her died in the last few days and no one seems to care about them.

and then there are those that are upset that anyone dies before their time.
Whether is seems that way or not.

She caused her own demise, I get that. It doesn't make it a good thing.

I don't know that people lack compassion necessarily. I think that people get sick of reading about celebrities as though they somehow matter more than everyone else. I also think that people are often really mocking the "celebrity" rather than the individual.

She didn't even want help. I was betting on it. Don't see a reason to feel bad about it. Sure she was a great singer, but there will be another one.

The sad shit about all of this is that there are people that look up to shits like her. People that spend money to see or listen to these people. They make money off saps then OD. Dumb asses...

think i may have lost a few friends on the facebook over this subject . all i did was remind people that there are people dieing for our rights and freedom and no one seems to care. but one silly little girl does herself in and everybody is all teary eyed . i call bull sh*t .all junkies are selfish and not one person can ever convince me otherwise. so what if she could sing a junkie is a junkie .

Yeah, my girl pissed off a lot of people on FaceBook as well. People saying things like, "My father was an alcohol, you don't know what addiction is like! I've got a special place in my heart for addicts."

I asked her if she asked that poster if her father used to trot around the house singing about how awesome it was being a drunk. I think even if I ever did start a Facebook account, I'd just get kicked off.

Knew the name but couldn't tell you anything about her. Too bad she offed herself, I guess.

Watched about 20 seconds of one of the posted vids. Janet Napolitano (Concrete Blonde) had a better voice and more charisma.

Janet Napolitano isn't dead though is she? I always like Concrete Blonde. They wrote a song about Interview With a Vampire.
