    Default Nickel plated sissy pistol...

So against my advice my friend went out and bought a "Nickel Plated sissy pistol" much like this:

It's a Smith & Wesson, which he likes the brand (and so do I) but this is a little flashy for his first pistol and he plans to carry it, plus it reminds me of the part in U.S. Marshals when Tommy Lee tells RDJ to ditch the "nickel plated sissy pistol" for a Glock. I didn't suggest Glock, but I said if you wanna stick with S&W go with the M&P. If not, I back Sig and pretty much any good 1911 (Dan Wesson and Nighthawk are out b/c of price) manuf. is another advised route to go. I told him how much I like my Springfield 1911GI, and how Colt 1911's are good, but then he goes this route... what can you do? I'll just let him be and tell him to enjoy it lol.

Not bad looking but I could never live with it. I owned one pistol one time that I sold the next week that had that feature.

That feature caused me to say again and again. Safety goes up, safety goes up, safety goes up.......... Born and raised on safety's that go down.
I see you running, tell me what your running from

Nobody's coming, what ya do that was so wrong.

At least it's not a Taurus PT945, like in the movie. As far as Smith autos go, if it's not the M&P, I don't like it very much. But if it works for him...

My first handgun was a stainless SA Loaded Champ and I carried it for almost two years. The S&W isn't nearly as flashy as a shiny 1911.

I was under the impression that these were some of the best Smith & Wesson autos (with the exception of the new M&P's).

Not saying they're lousy weapons, just saying I don't like em.
