I grew up in Woodland Park and the family is still there so I'm down at the south site quit a bit. I have been shooting there for a long time and clean up other's trash every time but have never picked up fridges and TVs because I wouldn't know what to do with them once I got them home...Waste Management doesn't like me to leave that shit on the curb.

If you guys can give me a suggestion as to where to dispose of the large trash slobs leave then I'll start picking it up when I'm there too.

The Ranger station a couple of miles south, heading back to WP has been very friendly in the past in letting us use their dumpster. Plus, if you go and give them a heads up, if the stuff is too big, just get it close to the road, and they'll bring in their big truck to haul it. Oh, if you can get it arranged so that you are still there to help load up there truck, it goes a long way in maintaining their "friendliness."

I like to think that worthless trash don't browse the boards here, but I know that it happens.

I was gonna say, the dumpster at my shop gets emptied 5 days a week, and the driver is careful to turn a blind eye on some "questionable" items, as long as they aren't too blatant (we've disposed of junk engines this way before). Forum members are welcome to use it, just gimme a heads up so I can be there when you empty your junk into it(neighbors in the building get a little pissy if people fill it with junk without permission, mostly construction trash from the surrounding neighborhood).

Note: the shop is near the Jeffco Fairgrounds

I am bringing my camera and long lenses to do some different kind of shooting. I was watching people shooting up desks when I last went up.
