Self control: The minds ability to override the body's urge to beat the living sh.. out of some ass.... who desperately deserves it.
The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.

Obama, so full of crap it is a miracle Air Force One can even get off the ground,
The Colorado Indigent Health Services is a system that is abused by many people. I HAD a friend that owned 2 houses and was making 60k a year. He applied for for help with a really large health bill and simply lied about what he owned and made. His bill was paid by CIHS. I called the people over there and told them that I wanted to report an abuse of the system and was told that they didn't care. That they didn't have the time to investigate! With attitudes like that the system will never change!
That's kinda disgusting. As a younger person, I hate all these abuse of programs. I hate watching food stamp folks getting king crab legs to sell or sell the cards outright. (Seen it first hand, not just the usual heresay) The people who "need" this help so often are in that bad situation because of their inability to budget. Happily paying high costs for individually packaged/name brand crap. especially when it comes to drinks.
I out of college got stuck working min wage and still managed to house/feed and afford a $2,000 rifle. Because I'm actually smart w/ my money. Add kids of course that goes out the window. But still, now I'm doing better at like $24k/year and I've got a $30,000 car that I'm comfortably paying off on top of my gun hobby. My biggest gripe is social security because I know 100% that money is gone, it wont be there when I retire.
CICP by the way, is only supposed to be good for a year I was told. I did end up on it during a lapse in health insurance when I had a really bad infection in my knuckle. Because of my income the discount was minor, really mainly cut the ER portion down.
If the guy you are slagging had a bill that cost him so much that he would end up losing his house, why is it a bad thing keeping him in his house paying local taxes rather than forcing him into bankruptcy thus onto Welfare too.
Justsayin...... there are other facets to the issue.
If... when... what if... all these hypotheticals are getting a little ridiculous. Did the OP say it was a guy with bills that cost more than a house? No, it was a family with a sniffle that was "undocumented" "residents." It's not a poor innocent guy who is a decent tax paying citizen, it's undocumented illegals that are abusing systems that shouldn't apply to them. Broken, in need of fixing. I'm tired of my tax dollars not going to US Citizens but instead to aid illegals who refuse to pay taxes, leech off of our faulty systems, and then commit crimes against us and live off the system. If I had my way I'd say ship 'em home and if they come back shoot on sight. We're bleeding bad here and it seems like no one is stepping up to bandage the wound [that is our porous border].

My assumption is the guy is a US citizen like you and me. We all will get sick someday. People should not loose everything they ever worked for because of illness. It's not right...
As to the illegals issue. Fix the 14th. Just make sure you add that it only applies to LIVING HUMAN citizens too.![]()
It does your heart good to pay for their health care with your tax dollars and over priced doctors visits dont itJust think the somalians get it, the iranians in laporte get it, the iraqis in the fort get it, everyone but the citizens get it, and you get bent over and get it
