That's gonna be one expensive plinker...
Its cool, but 1) Not something new (I saw a review of a .22TCM 1911 a while back), 2) Other than a sharper/more defined curve in the slide where it meets the dust cover, it doesn't look all that new/exciting/different than other 1911s, and 3) IMO the .22TCM needs to pick up a larger market to make it worth the purchase, as of right now the ammo is too expensive/hard to find that it makes it not worth it for a plinker and makes training for use as a fighting gun very cost-preventative.
Don't get me wrong, as 1911s go it appears to have some nice parts on it and I do like the minimalist styling of it (no unneeded forward-slide grooves, "cool" designs, etc.), but I don't see what all the hype and excitement is about as it seems to be mostly a novelty gun.
Interesting...

I have to agree with mcantar. The 1st thing I thought was price of ammo. Good luck with that, I predict a short retail life for the gun and cartridge.
It costs the same as a 9mm I buy by the 1000, and its well worth it, have you seen what this little 40 gr bullet does to a watermelon on youtube. And it has a 9mm barrel with it, as far as I know I am the only one that has one in the us.
