I can understand that it's not tolerated but I'm sure he didn't really want someone shot. I didn't read the thread but he is a passionate person that was probably just over expressing himself like we have all done.
We should also remember that some folks need to be shot. That's why we have guns and fight for our gun rights. I don't want anyone shot but if they need shooting, everyone on this forum is probably prepared to accomplish the task.
So it is perfectly acceptable in this forum to "hope" a criminal, Bin Laden, etc, gets shot, but "hoping" a LE who is no better than the people he is supposed to police is sacred? I call bullshit, the mods could have wiped the post, warned Stryke, and post a "standards of conduct" before arbitrarily banning a very active and well-liked member for language that has been no harsher than some other posts in this forum. Or do we just believe in the 2nd Amendment, and not the 1st?

I just met Byte Stryke for the 1st time this morning. I could tell pretty quickly that he is very opinionated- perhaps even more so than me. I don't mean any more than I stated. Perfectly nice guy. Regardless- printed encouragement in the direction he indicated could very negatively impact the legitimacy of this forum. If it is tolerated on any level, well-
not a good thing. We hear of that type of crap all of the time in the lefty forums. Let's not provide ANY ammo to their side. Imho
