No one in my family owns a manual transmission, and the last few strangers whom I've approached in the parking lot weren't too friendly...

    HA!

    5 Things I don't understand:

    1. Girls who honestly think a guy who wants you to ride on his motorcycle "just wants to be friends" and has "no other motives." Took me almost a year to get my wife to understand that one while we were dating.

    2. The homeless person who had the balls to ask me for 2 dollars while I was clearly on the phone with my insurance company trying to get roadside assistance for my wife's car that had just broken down. I'm not anti-homeless people, but come on, man, the slightest amount of observational awareness would have SCREAMED "this is a bad time!"

    3. The near ENDLESS amount of accusatory questions that are thrown my way when people find out I don't drink alcohol. And how timid people can be about drinking around me, even though I don't make an issue out of it, and even BUY people drinks on occasion. Look, I don't give a crap if you drink. It's your right, whatever, as long as it doesn't interfere with my life or the lives of my family members. I like food, you like beer, leave it alone.

    4. Impatient people at fast food establishments and other retail outlets. It's nobodies fault but your own that you are in a hurry. And I don't care if it's McDonalds, and it takes 5-10 minutes instead of the company mandated 60-90 seconds. It's FOOD, FAST, and you can get it 24 hours a day. Be frickin' grateful, and shut the hell up! The world doesn't owe you JACK CRAP, and most of those people have to deal with the WORST CUSTOMERS on the face of the planet. I was a cashier at Home Depot for a summer, and that nonsense still gets on my nerves.

Especially that stupid ho at Einstein's who was obviously an administrative assistant or something similar who kept saying "I have a meeting in 10 minutes, so either give me my food now, or give me a refund!" and then turned to me and said "Is their job EVEN that hard?" I looked at the lady behind the counter and said "do her order before mine, she's obviously in SUCH a hurry." Then spent the next 5 minutes talking trash about her WITH the employees after she left. Is their job even that hard? You probably answer a phone all day and flirt with your boss. Shut your mouth. And why would you stop for a bagel and coffee if you have a meeting in 10 minutes? EFF!!!!!

    Okay, peaceful place...

    5. Parents who get into physical altercations at their child's sporting event. Seriously?

    1. The people who think their little (Honda-Toyota-Hyundai-whatever) SUV is a perfectly fine tow vehicle for hauling the camper in the mountains.
    2. The fellow yesterday who ran down the turn lane on 470, then TRIED to intimidate his way in front of me, with his Toyota Pious with the coexist-I love obama bumper stickers.
    3. politicians...aren't we AMERICAN's first? I thought we were all on the same side.

I'm in my 30's and I still (occasionally) play video games. Do you understand why people watch TV or a Movie or read a book? It's a way to switch off parts of your brain, you get your mind into a "zone" where all your stress from work just goes away.

I have game consoles, but those are mainly for playing games with the girlfriend. Those are usually two player or cooperative games that are essentially a replacement for watching a movie.

Primarily I enjoy PC games on a high end rig, extremely competitive gaming against other human players. They fight back, they adapt, they try things you haven't seen done before.

Also I'll play 5 minute long "puzzle" games... often ones I've played before, where they time how long it takes to solve a given challenge. I play them in the middle of the day, as replacements for the smoke breaks I use to take. Often I find a few minutes focused on another task allows me some mental clarity when I go back to programming.

Also, if you haven't played any videogames since you were ten, you might not have seen how far it's come:

blackford, I saw the same type of thing yesterday. A Jeep Cherokee pulling a camper trailer and a jet-ski trailer.

#1 I get annoyed at people that buy a mattress and think one or two little pieces of twine is gonna hold it to the roof of their vehicle while driving 65 MPH.

#2 People who drive their "smart" car on I-25

#3 People who think it is OK to park on private property because they are too lazy to walk few hundred more feet. I get this all the time when Windsor decides to have some sort of event at Boardwalk park. I am constantly telling them they can't park there because it's private property. Most of them are OK about it and move, some are not OK and tell me to deal with it. Is it OK if I drag a vehicle off of my property with my truck?

#4 Daylight savings time. It's not needed, get rid of it.

#5 I can't think of a 5th, but I will and I'll post it when it comes to me.

Too true. Seems like the two parties are more cut-throat every year. The only thing they really agree on is that two political parties are enough.

I would have told them to make sure to make my order first, and I'd need it well done.

Agreed. 1. Plants don't care what time it is.
    2. Farmers get paid to NOT farm nowadays anyway.
    3. Electricity has been around for at least 35 years now.

    I have only a couple
#1 Scooters- take your toy off the road. Its for kids and vacation towns, not to ride in rush hour like an asshole.
#2 These dipshits that drive thier diesels around and make it a point to blow out black smoke everywhere. I drive a lifted diesel, doesnt smoke that much, dont want to look like a prick. I live by ATS Diesel. Talk about some true jack-offs.
