Heck a Senator could run on a platform of legalizing attachable hearing protection for riffles as a way of cleaning up noise pollution and helping save money by eliminating the cost of hearing loss on the economy.

Liberals would hear it as a good thing for public health and a way to cut down on noise pollution from the "Evil gun" owners who shoot in the woods.

You and I and many other gun owners would cheer because the guy was making suppressors legal.
