I had SF do mine on Friday. Took almost an hour as there was a lot or damage. They came up with $10,481 in damage so they cut me a check for that less deductible.

Told me I can get it fixed where and a when I want and if there is more costs they will cover it.

All in all a pretty painless process. Hope yours is the same.

It's an Audi A8. Since the car is completely aluminum they have to replace most of the panels as they metal doesn't PDR as well as stamped steel.

It also killed all the Trim around the windows which is also Alum, and I know thats 1000 bucks a side to replace.

I'm willing to bet they are still a few grand short of the final cost.

To ensure you get it fixed and dont just take the money and run then the Credit unions collateral isnt worth a shit

Because the CU owns the car. You can get it fixed or some company's will hold the $$$ until you pay it off.
I see you running, tell me what your running from

Nobody's coming, what ya do that was so wrong.

You can get a check made out to you and the CU and then you can take that check and pay off your loan or pay it down if you want. I've been at this for over 30 years so it should work. That's how I paid off my wifes car (cept it was sand damage). Only bad thing is if you wreck your car later and haven't had it fixed they will not pay to replace those partsd again.
