where are our mortgage brokers at? I have a couple questions.

First, I have lived in my house for more than 4 years. If we bought another house and moved into it, but didnt sell this one for another month or 6 months, do we have to pay extra taxes when it sells, because then the first house is no longer our primary residence? When it does sell, hopefully soon, can we refinance the new house and put all the money down on it and avoid capital gains or whatever plan the government has for screwing us out of our money. So much to think about.

Also, should I use a mortgage broker or just use USAA and my VA loan?


we have to move, we hate our house, we hate the location. It needs some remodeling, which we cant accomplish while living in it with 5 small children. Thats why we are looking at moving before the house sells.

Is that a question or are you looking for confirmation on what to do? Duh! Go with USAA. I know that it would probably take longer but it will be worth it.
