Since this thread is clearly about assholes, I figured I'd join the crowd. I can be just as much of an asshole as the rest of this crew and serving (however briefly) as the grammar policeman would be a good start...

Oh, I didn't mean it in a bad way. Corrections are welcome and funny. Some others will know of whom I was speaking when I said you reminded me of someone...

As a cyclist, diesels piss me off. As someone who enjoys a prank, I laughed at the video,

Nynco, everytime I look at your profile pic I think of you as Dr. Octopus or whatever his name was from SpiderMan. I think that gun is gonna morph and have arms come out of it if I stare long enough. Just saying, that's all...had to share.

Milt, while I appreciate the sentiment, I was speaking in the past-tense... so I was correct. As for nynco, yes he makes a lot of errors in grammar and syntax, but I see why, he is trying to shoot a response quickly. I see validity in that, but I'd rather the message come across late and in good quality than quick and shoddy.

    Straighten out your thinking.
    Uh...what?
If you read all the posts you will see that my comments never threatened anyone on a bike.
The thread took a sharp left, and I found myself talking about the trucking industry, not exactly sure how it happened, then we were talking about taxes, again a bit of a mystery.
As for my comment about lowering or dropping the fuel taxes for semi's, my reasoning is that everything is moved by truck, if they get a small break that we should all benefit too.

I watched the video, and all the riders I saw were as far right as possible, and not impeding the fucktard in the dodge at all, so in this specific instance, the guy in the truck was an asshole.
I used to have to drive through Chatfield State Park to get to work everyday. Nearly every day on my way home I would have problems with riders. The part that made me most angry was that there is a nice, smooth paved bike path running parallel to the road, not 6 feet away. If you haven't driven through the park, well, the roads aren't too good. So why the hell would they choose to be in the middle of the road holding everyone up? I had to buy a park sticker to use the road, the cyclists don't. So, yes, there are SOME cyclists I'd love to see get smoked out. Does that make it right, not really.
