Most all bike riders drive cars and pay those taxes too. So the part about not paying taxes is not really a good line of thinking.

Um yes, but they don't pay taxes and fees for their bicycle to use the road. You don't pay taxes and fees for one of your cars to use the roads and get your other cars for free do you? So why do bikes get to use it for free?

And furthermore, why no accident insurance and license required to operate a bicycle on the road? They legally get the same use of the road as cars so why not have to follow the same rules? I have to get a separate license, registration and insurance to operate my motorcycle on the roads but bicycles don't...? Doesn't make sense...

Great point hollohas. If you want to use the road, at a much slower pace and not pay attention to traffic laws, i.e. red lights, crosswalks, etc, they should be required to carry insurance just as any other vehicle is that operates on a public roadway.

I didn't joke about killing cyclists, and frankly you can calm the fuck down. We had a debate about sharing the road, the laws applying to cyclists and motorists, and you write this?
