Winchester M-22 ammo

Has anyone tried Winchester's M-22 ammo? What do you think of it?

Since they only sell it in 1,000 round boxes, anyone have a 100-200 they would be willing to sell for me to try it out? hate spending $50+ just to test it. Work in Englewood & live in Conifer.

Well, I decided to try it, 1,000 round packaging and all.

The good: I ran through one box of 500 rounds in my 10/22 with a few through a Beretta NEOS. 100% function. Had zero ftf's or fte's. The recoil was noticeably more than Federal bulk stuff. Not that there's much even from these but it's a "seat of the pants" indicator of the higher velocity with a 40 gr bullet Winchester advertizes.

The not as good: They don't group well compared to Federal bulk & Armscor in the 10/22. These were shooting around 2" groups at 50 yards compared to less than 1" with the Armscor & a little over 1" for the Federal.

So, if you want to try these without buying the full 1000, I have one 500 round box unopened. I would trade it for 500 rounds of Armscor or you can have it for $25, a little less than what I have in it. (hope this doesn't violate the "sell it the trading post" rule as it kind of goes with the range report...)
