$14-$17 for 3 years but I have not been logged in to the instructors site in a while. That price is what i paid last year for a 3 year renewal for basic pistol.

Do you have to be a current NRA member to take their courses to be an instructor?
Actually...No. I took my NRA instructor course from the Boulder Rifle Club a few years back. They do NOT require you to be an NRA member, but it does cost you more to maintain your instructor status and the cost difference is worth getting the membership. Basically, they make a strong suggestion in the class that it is very beneficial for you to become a member if you are not. I think it would be silly to be a certified NRA Instructor and not an NRA member.
The character of a man can be judged by how he treats those who can do nothing for him
The price i quoted was a non member instructor cost minus instructor insurance (optional). For the life of me i cant find that cost.
Each discipline takes about 8 hours and prices will vary since it's up to the Instructor on cost. The NRA charges for class material and the Instructor charges what they consider appropriate.
I was fortunate and took all my courses about 16 years ago through the Boy Scouts at greatly reduced cost. We were charged material costs and food costs for 2 courses per weekend.
Just a heads up-each discipline requires an exam at the end of the course.![]()
Don't pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to Fight, he'll just kill you.
$31 for 3 years if your a non NRA member, even though I'm a member i got charged the non member rate, but I couldnt let it lapse so I paid it.
Any good instructors in Denver who could teach me a course that would qualify me to teach others for their CCW req?
