I still remember where I was when I heard he had died. He was a great musician and a great friend to the music community. The first time I saw him play was in the summer of 87' at Aloha Stadium in August... he played for 4 hours from noon until 4. He was mezmorizing!

Definitely one of the all time greats. A friend in high school acutally went to his last show at Alpine Valley (I grew up in Chi.), and we were just dumbstruck when we heard about the crash the next day. Such a loss.
