I just picked up a 700 at Dicks and looking forward to modding it a lil.
Id like to get the detachable magazine. From the sounds of what Ive read on the net..Its best to ditch the stock, however I cant see why? I can clearance the front free floating it and glass bed it and wouldnt that cure any probs id have with the factory stock?

Quick Question. Is it a big deal to drill into the factory stock and add a Picatinny ral to mount a bipod that I have for my AR on there when needed? Friends say...YOU SHOULD NEVER MOD THE STOCKS it ruins value.
