I've dealt with them before. Not a bad agency.
Most dispatch applicants go through a multi-tasking exam, in which they gauge your ability to listen, type and talk at the same time. That is either a go/no-go or a scaled exam. Then usually comes the oral board interview and a ranking for a hiring eligibility list. Those on that list will then go through a background investigation and dependent upon the agency, a polygraph and a psychological. I am not sure if Fountain requires the last two for their dispatchers. Most agencies do.
