Love how they do it with a General Lee! That was cool...
The parallel parking vid reminds me of that episode of US Top Gear where they have a blind guy attempt the same trick.

I did that once with 4 or so inches of snow on the street outside my parents' house. My car went slightly up the angled curb and slid down into place. Bumper was perfectly even with the edge of the lawn

Just once? I've done that every time there has been snow on the street since I could first drive.

my dually wouldn't quite fit. I could run over the two little piles of crap or just tow them out of the way.

when i ran my construction company i would get the same reactions from the yuppies downtown when i would parallel park my dually with the equipment trailer on the back.

Full size trucks in downtown Denver don't work very well. I've never gotten the looks he got... the ones I get are usually dirty looks or eye rolls at the hick in the big loud truck that belches black tree-killing smoke (yes I know its better for the trees than a Prius, but they don't).

Yup people tend to move out of the way when they see nothing but part of a grill in their rear view. Its pretty convenient.

You're the dumb hick until one of them needs someone who can turn a wrench, or needs their car towed, or needs to pick up a couch, or needs help moving, or needs to get somewhere in the snow, or needs to be pulled out of the snow, or...

I've done it hundreds of times, but that was the one with the best parking job.
