400 is standard, if not a little pricey for a .22 handgun (imagine that, an expensive SIG). It is a great gun...you won't have any problems with it. A lot of people like them because they come from the factory with crazy camo patterns, and are super easy to turn into suppressor hosts.
Overall, not the cheapest you can get, but certainly not a bad firearm.
GEDIT: Wow I totally was talking about the Mosquito. Please disregard my idiocy.

Just call me 47
Even the ATI GSG .22 1911 start at 300+
the gsg 1911 22 IS the sig 1911 22. sig just puts their name on it. has anyone got any experience with the gsg model?
i have heard good things about the sig, good things about the gsg, and bad things about the gsg.
If you look around you can find the gsg 1911-22 for 259.
I have a GSG-1911. It shoots great. I only have a brick (500rds)through it though. The only problem I've had with it is with one brand of ammo (Federal GameShok I think) the last round hold open didn't on 2 of my 5 magazines. I only used one box of that stuff. All the other ammo I've used is CCI MiniMag. The last round thing always worked with the CCI. I've never had any other problems.
I can't address accuracy because I'm a lousy shot. Another guy shot it and did a 3 inch group at 50 feet without any practice.
I removed the mag safety after my first trip to the range. It's easy to remove the one part that makes it work.
There is some stuff on the internet about the spring guide breaking. I bought one anyway. I'll deal with that if it comes up. I'm hoping my gun is new enough that they have fixed that if it really is a problem.
Try some federal bulk from Wal mart. It works great in my semi auto 22's, and when my chiappa 1911-22 worked, it was the only ammo that would feed.
I have about thousands of rounds through my GSG and the only problem I have had is the take down screw stripped out, I just have not called them to have it taken care of. I took it out yesterday and put 550 flawless rounds through it I love it, and man it is accurate.
+1 for the gsg 1911. I wasn't impressed with the build quality of the gsg-5, but the 1911 is good to go. Well built and reliable. I have a few thousand rounds through mine so far and no real problems. My only complaint is the stupid take down screw. Really wish they would have made it a screw-less design.
